Thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves! We are the National Trust’s Leadership Team on Dartmoor. Below we tell you what we all do.

Adrian Colston – General Manager for the Trust on Dartmoor, as such I am responsible for all of our teams across the moor in the Teign, Plym and Dart Valleys, Lydford Gorge, Finch Foundry, Parke and Widecombe. Am also the National Trust’s Nature Champion.
Gus Fergusson – I am Lead Ranger for the South Dartmoor team of Countryside Rangers covering the historic Parke estate on the edge of Dartmoor at Bovey Tracey and the substantial Plym Valley estate which takes in a wide range of habitats – moorland, woodland and urban fringe.
Ben Shapcott – I am the Foundry Manager over at Finch, the main aspects of my role are to manage the shop, tearoom and museum, as well as all the admin and conservation issues which surround the running of a small National Trust Property.
Debbie Halls – I’m the Dartmoor administrator. I’m involved with all sorts of things from digital media, recruiting, events, to training and any general queries.
Catherine Maddern – Visitor Services and Enterprise Manager. My role is to work with the Dartmoor ranger team in providing great experiences at our places from pre-visit information to onsite. I also look after our commercial operations and look for new opportunities to generate income for our conservation work.
Mick Jones – I am the lead ranger for North Dartmoor. I am responsible for the countryside management of Lyford gorge, Holne and Hembury woods, Castle Drogo estate and Steps bridge woods.
